Save the North Carolina Drug Court Program – The state of North Carolina is currently in the process of determining the budget for fiscal year 2011-12 and the Drug Treatment Court program is likely to lose substantial funding and potentially be cut entirely. This program has saved many lives and saved the state of North Carolina significant funds by keeping non-violent offenders out of jails and putting them into a structured treatment program.
