“Daval International has received Orphan-Drug designation for its anti-inflammatory agent Aimspro for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) from the FDA” (as of Nov 9th). It goes on to say that “Approaches have been made to Daval to conduct… clinical trials”, so trials have not been done and it is not a verifiably safe drug, which means it’s not on the market yet. From the article, it looks like it’s for ALS and other hits on Yahoo mention for MS, but not optic nerve damage.
