THE OKLAHOMA BUREAU OF NARCOTICS AND DANGEROUS DRUGS SAYS THE NUMBER OF OVERDOSE DEATHS HAVE INCREASED MORE THAN 100 PERCENT IN THE LAST TEN YEARS. A RECORD 715 PEOPLE DIED IN OKLAHOMA JUST LAST YEAR FROM PRESCRIPTION DRUG OVERDOSES. LAW ENFORCEMENT SAYS IT IS AN EPIDEMIC THAT IS NOW GRABBING OKLAHOMA’S YOUNG PEOPLE AND IN MANY CASES WON’T LET GO.
