Opinion: Drug treatment in NJ breaks the cycle of crime, prison time
Every year, we turn loose thousands of prisoners with substance abuse problems and little chance of treatment. This is not a wise approach. This approach does not help taxpayers, prevent crime or show a sensible and tough attitude toward criminals.
