Stand Up to Cancer: Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare – The Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare is one of the original Stand Up to Cancer Dream Team sites. It is the only center in the southwest participating as a clinical collaborator in the million SU2C pancreatic cancer Dream Team grant, conducting clinical trials of new cancer treatments designed to cut off the fuel supply of nutrients feeding pancreatic cancer cells. Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center Clinical Trials is a partnership between Scottsdale Healthcare and TGen that treats cancer patients with promising new drugs, and has built a national reputation for its drug development programs and treating advanced and rare cancers.
